This morning I birded the Richmond Wildlife Management area and saw Yellow-breasted Chats. The birds were near the entrance to Cherry Creek Canyon at the turn around circle near the Richmond Wildlife Management area sign. Other birds in the area included Calliope Hummingbird, Broad-tailed Hummingbird, Lazuli Bunting, Western Tanager, Black-headed Grosbeak, Plumbeous Vireo, Yellow Warbler, and Turkey. I also went back to get photos of the Bobolinks near Logan River Bridge on Mendon Road. In addition to the Bobolinks I saw Gray Catbirds and heard a Sora. The Sora was in the marshy area on the south side of the road.
Thanks.
Buck Russell
