[Birdtalk] Rufous Hummingbird

Hi y'all,

I have a male Rufous Hummingbird at one of my hummingbird feeders in  
Oak City (Millard Co). Nothing very unusual about that, except that  
it's only May. I don't have my records in front of me, but I know the  
earliest I've had one in my Oak City yard was during the last few days  
of June.

I first saw this guy Monday (5/19) evening after my wife told me she  
was sure that she had seen one earlier. By 7:30 p.m. it had taken  
control of the feeder - much to the chagrin of the local black-chinneds.

Rufous was still hanging around this morning when I left for work at 6:30.
