I have had a number of requests for information about birding the Salt Lake International Center. I have created a map on google with placmarkers for some of the locations that typically are best for birding. Blue dots represent a water feature, yellow dots represent fields, and green dots are for areas with lots of trees or shrubs.

The four red lines are the main roads that go past most of the locations that have placemarkers. These streets have lots of trees and pretty much any tree is worth chekcing for birds at the IC. To bird the entire area allow 3-4 hours or more. Evenings are okay, but weekends are by far the best time to be out there. I would suspect the next couple weeks will be pretty good, and around the end of July beginning of August it should pick up again for fall migration.

Good Birding
