What better way to spend a day off from work than to go birding! The
laundry and the dishes can wait. I braved the snow this AM and went first
to Milleville Canyon. Coming back, I went along Hwy 165 North toward Macy's
from Milleville and found the swallows having fun over a pond. After
forking over my first-born child for a tank of gas, I then went to the Logan
River Trail. From my list of birds to see, I saw: GREEN-TAILED TOWHEES,
VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS, TREE SWALLOWS and several kinds of WARBLERS! me so
hoppy!
