While taking my recently broken binocs to the post office in hopes the Nikon
Fairy will return a shiny new pair next week, I swung through the park to
see what was kicking around. 4 species of swallow were circling out over
the ponds and at times shooting up and out over 1300 East. TREE, NRW, BANK
and BARN were all present. 3 COMMON GOLDENEYE remained today, making it I
think 6 or 7 straight weeks that at least one has been there. Below is a
complete list. Also of note, several days ago I had my first BROAD-TAILED
HUMMINGBIRD flying high over my parents house in the Sugarhouse area heading
north.
