Hi all,
I went out to the Lee Kay Ponds and the Salt Lake International Center this
evening. See ebird.org for a complete list...
Lee Kay Ponds
15 duck species - including many of both scaup sp.
American White Pelican - 1 circling overhead
American Avocets - 53 - between the actual Lee Kay Ponds and the ponds along
7200 W just north of the dump
Black-necked Stilts - 9 - west end of Lee Kay Ponds previously reported by
Stephen
Long-billed Dowitchers - 6 - west end of Lee Kay Ponds
Long-billed Curlew - 2 - ponds along 7200 W just north of dump
Cliff Swallow - 4 flying over
Yellow-headed Blackbirds - 3 - on territory on the SW side
Salt Lake International Center
Killdeer - several on territory
Greater Yellowlegs - 1 heard calling to the north
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1 in conifers in the NW corner
Western Meadowlark - at least 8 singing in the adjacent fields
