[Birdtalk] FOS - black-necked stilt and barn swallows

I spotted my first black-necked stilt of the season about an hour ago in 
the pond that lies west of the freeway and just north of the north 
Springville off-ramp. Numerous swallows were flying above the pond. Most 
were tree swallows but I saw at least one barn swallow, and there may 
have been at least one other. Spring must really be on its way despite 
Mother Nature's best efforts to the contrary.
