Deedee et, all,

Although, we don't see a whole lot of Bonaparte's Gulls in Salt Lake County, there are usually a few seen in the spring and fall moving through. It's about the right time, typically April is a good month to be on the lookout for these tiny gulls. I see them occasionally at Saltair, but have seen a few between Lee Kay and Lee's Creek.

Thanks for posting your sightings!

Good Birding

Tim

A quick trip to Lee Kay Ponds yesterday afternoon in hopes of seeing Avocets (no luck) didn't produce much of interest except two Bonaparte's Gulls feeding in the water apart from the many California gulls. I was surprised, as I've only seen Bonaparte's along the Causeway and they were always in small flocks. Is this unusual?
  Deedee
