[Birdtalk] Spring?

I heard my first Sage Sparrows of the year this morning.  It was an odd sight to see them singing from the tops of sagebrush just barely sticking out of the remaining snow.  The sound of spring made me momentarily forget that I was standing on snow with a snow storm approaching.  Maybe spring will come, eventually.  Also, sage-grouse are not strutting yet in the Basin.  They were strutting in early February last year.  How things change in a year.
