This morning, Jeff Bilsky and I birded around Butterfield Canyon, and up the
Bacchus Highway (Salt Lake County west bench). Saw a couple Eurasian
Collared-Dove in Herriman. In Butterfield Canyon we saw and or hear most of
the usual suspsects. NO Fox Sparrows, Green-tailed Towhee, Bullock's
Oriole, Red-naped Sapsucker, Mountain Bluebird or Juniper Titmouse however.
At the top of the canyon a flock of 30 California Gulls was circling coming
form the north, that was odd.

Along the Bacchus Highway we had Lark and Brewer's Sparrow, and at Cougar
Park in Kearns, Western Kingbird and a very territorial male Black-chinned
Hummingbird, that did its dive display for almost a minute in front of us.
A complete list from Butterfield Canyon is below.
