[Birdtalk] Cache Co. Band-tailed pigeon

Stephanie Cobbold and I hiked from Tony Grove to High Creek (in the Bear
River Range of Cache County) yesterday and today.  The bird highlight
was a singing ("cooing?") Band-tailed Pigeon at High Creek Lake.  I
heard this bird singing at dusk, about 8:30 or 9:00PM, but wasn't able
to see it.  The song was coming from the direction of Cherry Peak but
was not very far away.  This may or may not be the same bird I
photographed near White Pine Lake on July 5th.  White Pine Lake is about
eight miles away by trail, but only about one mile away as the pigeon
flies.
