[Birdtalk] SL County Tuesday

Tuesday afternoon, Carl Ingwell and I birded around the south shore of the Great Salt Lake, 7200 West and Lee Kay Ponds.  Shorebird movement is still pretty good.  Below are shorebird highlights from the Lee's Creek area: 

2 Snowy Plover 
1 Spotted Sandpiper
1 Lesser Yellowlegs 
14 Long-billed Dowitcher
2 Black-necked Stilt
20 American Avocet 

Also in this area were several hundred White-faced Ibis, ~50 Franklin's Gull, and 8 Ring-billed Gull. 

At Lee Kay Ponds were several Common Merganser and 8 Caspian Tern.
