Hi Birder Buddies,

I'm glad Audubon is behind the effort to curb global warming. After some study, I’m convinced that global warming is real.
Melting glaciers, shrinking ice caps,
declining bird populations, and record temperatures all point to climate change. Furthermore, we humans are
causing it by burning fossil fuels, by deforesting, etc. We are adding
unprecedented amounts of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, to the atmosphere.

What can we do about it? We can change our light bulbs, but
more important, we must change our laws
to stop our addiction to fossil fuels. Please ask Congress encourage the use of
solar, wind and other renewable energy sources.

Together, we can solve the climate crisis for the next
generation. Visit this site, which is a partner with Audubon, to learn more and add your voice:

We can make a difference. And the good news is, we’ll
generate thousands of new jobs, and we’ll have better air to breathe as we make
the transition to cleaner energy sources. And happier birds!

Thanks,
