Hiked up to Red Pine Lake and Maybird Lakes today. The emphasis was hiking with birding secondary so i am sure there was more then I noted. Ruby-crowned Kinglets were calling almost the entire length of the hike. Swainson's Thrushs were also numerous. I also heard Warbling Vireos, Clark's Nutcracker, American Robins, Dark-eyed Juncos, Olive-sided Flycatcher and a Willow Flycatcher. One Yellow-rumped Warbler showed itself at the parking lot.

If you go, be aware that the snow is as low as the Maybird/Red Pine trail junction. Above Red Pine Lake it is pretty much all snow.
