[Birdtalk] Cache Co. Band-tailed Pigeon

Today I birded from Tony Grove to White Pine Lake in Cache County with
Craig Faulhaber. The best bird of the day was a lone BAND-TAILED PIGEON
that was in a snag just before the trail dropped down to White Pine
Lake. This species is more common elsewhere in the state, but is listed
as "seen only a few times in the last 30 years" on the Bridgerland
Audubon checklist for Cache County. Other good birds included three Red
Crossbills, my first Steller's Jays of the year, and two Williamson's
Sapsuckers. Here's a photo of the Band-tailed Pigeon:
