[Birdtalk] Purple Martin Colonies II

Hello again,

Sadly, I got no response to the request for information in my previous e-mail. [sigh...] So I'll try a more specific request.

Does anyone know the exact location/directions to the Mount Nebo Loop martin colony? Has anyone seen them this year? Please, if you can assist me in this, I would be much obliged (and you would do your part to further the scientific community's efforts to understand the genetics, and therefore taxonomic relationships, of various races of the Purple Martin).

Still hopeful,

David

Hello, one & all.

I am again participating in a national Purple Martin genetic study (actually international, as the Canadians are involved). I was hoping to find more Purple Martin colonies for the research team to visit in a couple weeks. If any of you know of active colonies, I would much appreciate specific directions to help us find the colonies.

Thank you much!

David
