[Birdtalk] New Yard Bird - Northern Shrike

I just had a great new yard bird, a Northern Shrike was sitting in the tree above one of my feeding areas (Pleasant Grove, Ut Co.).  It chased some juncos around for a while. Not at all stealthy. It saw a bird, it chased the bird. It saw another bird, it chased that bird.  Then it flew over the fence to the neighbors yard.
 
I still have a good flock of Morning dove coming to the bird feed and I just noticed my 30-or-so Quail don't seem to be afraid of deer.  I just saw them walking by a deer (just inches away) that was bedded down near some cover in the side yard.  The bird food has been going down fast.
