[Birdtalk] Kris Purdy Update

Hi Folks -

I spoke with Kris's husband this evening.  She had just come out of surgery and he asked me to let everyone know that things went well.  The doctors were pleased with the results and they expect a full recovery!

John suggested no visitors until Sunday at the earliest and it depends on how Kris does for the next few days.  The hospital staff will get her up tomorrow, but she has not been on her feet for about 10 days and is quite weak.  John said she will begin 3-5 days of physical therapy in a few days and if everything goes well, she'll be "free to go."

I'll check with John on Sunday and post an update on visitors.
