Thanks for the update, and what do you know....Kris is ALWAYS on the birding trail even in a hospital bed! She will have all the Doctors and nurses wanting to get out there and do some "birding." Way to go Kris, and keep getting well. Be sure to tell those Doctors you have a priceless neck, and please take care of it!

  Hi Folks -

  I spoke with Kris this evening and she asked me to let all of you know that just prior to her auto accident, she "saw the bird."  She was watching some longspurs in a flock of Horned Larks when a dump truck hit her from behind and the lights went out.

  She had the hospital staff turn her bed around so she could look out the window and whaddayaknow, she can see the "screech owl tree" in Glassman Park.

  Kris seems to be in good spirits.
