This morning I thought for sure would be the morning that I added Bohemian Waxwing to the yardlist. As I looked out the window across the field behind the house, I could see lots of movement in the crab apple trees. I grabbed my binoculars and started looking and found a bunch of Cedars, as well as Robins and House Finches, but not a single Bohemian. I spent about 10 minutes scannign and rescanning but without luck.

A half hour later, near 700 East and 1700 South was a flock of around 70 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS perched on telephone wires and feeding in I think a hawthorne. I have seen BOWA to the south, the east, and the west of where I live within 2 miles, but none at the house. So frustrating!

Good Birding
