[Birdtalk] Blustery Salt Lake County

I made a quick trip around the northwest corner of Salt Lake County this afternoon.  The winds were howling out of the south which made looking at the birds oh so much fun.  At Lee Kay the gulls were out on the ice, except they were about 150 yards out in an area they don't normally sit, all the way on the east half of the main pond.  No odd gulls were seen today, but a Red-tailed Hawk was hanging out on the gazebo when I arrived.

Along the Frontage Road to Saltair were several Harriers, Rough-legged Hawks and only 8 Horned Lark.

Also, this morning I saw a Bald Eagle flying over Mick Riley Golf Course in Murray.
