I decided to take January 1st, 2008 off from birding.? I didn't leave the house til it was dark, ensuring that I wouldn't see any birds until I wanted to.? Even today I have been home working, with the windows drawn shut.? I want the first bird I see in 08' to be a memorable one.? In 2007 it was a Canada Goose, better than the starlings or House Sparrows from previous years.? In any event, 2007 was one heck of a year.? I have been tyring to figure out what I was going to write to recap the year and all I could come up with was "Wow".?
