I decided to take January 1st, 2008 off from birding. I didn't leave the house til it was dark, ensuring that I wouldn't see any birds until I wanted to. Even today I have been home working, with the windows drawn shut. I want the first bird I see in 08' to be a memorable one. In 2007 it was a Canada Goose, better than the starlings or House Sparrows from previous years. In any event, 2007 was one heck of a year. I have been tyring to figure out what I was going to write to recap the year and all I could come up with was "Wow". I have posted to my blog my review of 2007, or more or less my review of my year:

Also a complete list of birds from my big year, as well as those photographed can be seen here:

It is very long, just a warning. Thanks to everyone who helped me out in 2007, it will be a year I don't forget. And all I have to say Ed, is go for it, its a lot of fun!
Good Birding in 2008
