[Birdtalk] Killdeer

I was out to the Nature Center at Farmington Bay today, and was also met by the wonders of Spring with the Killdeer, kil-deeah sound. As I looked for them there were at least 6 or 7 responding back and forth, and running around the fields. I also was delighted with a Merlin on guard from one of the telephone poles on Glover Lane. Kestrals were also enjoying the day copulating, and making the most of Spring.

I saw two Killdeer at Clegg's Pond in Orem a week ago, and I've heard a Killdeer each of the last two mornings on my walk in northeast Provo.

Last night whilst walking the dogs near the Home Depot in Centerville I heard at least 2 killdeer. There is a little field on the southeast side of Home Depot (200 West), as well as some horse corrals further west.

    Anyone else seen/heard any killdeer?
