I managed to get a couple shots of the crossbill which I had to convince myself wasn't a Red with white in the wings, however, the bird looked pretty good and pretty neat. THe orangish color really stood out in the pines. As Kris mentioned (thanks Kris) the bird was with a flock of Red Crossbills along Center Street (990 East) between 205-300 North. The Crossbill flock numbered about 40, and was fairly inconspicuous as they weren't calling as I would have expected, maybe part of the reason we missed them on Saturday. In any event I started imitating a Pygmy-Owl and was mobbed by numerous Pine Siskin, House Finch, Dark-eyed Junco, both Mountain and Black-capped Chickadee, 4 Red-breasted Nuthatch, and an inquisitive Townsend's Solitaire. On the north end of the cemetery was a singing Cassin's Finch perched atop a blue spruce.

Also spotted were the Beyer's leaving as I was arriving, I was only 20 feet away but I think they missed seeing me ;)
