[Birdtalk] Great-tailed Grackles

Working in the Evanston CBC circle today and had time to do a little birding. 

Found 3 Great-tailed Grackles, 2 males and 1 female on the Bear River at the corner of Appaloosa and Palamino in El Caballo. Note: 3 Great-tail Grackles were seen on the 105th CBC a few miles north of today's sighting.


Other noteworthy birds today on the Bear River north of Evanston:

Western Meadowlark
Robins
Black Rosy-Finches mixed in with Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches
A. Pipits
Ferruginous Hawk
House and Cassin's Finches galore but no C. Redpolls.


Deseret Land & Livestock
One-eyed Bald eagle with a deformed beak
Sage-Grouse
Horned Larks but no Vesper Sparrow
