[Birdtalk] New Yard Bird - MERLIN - SLC, Sugarhouse

Leaving for birding this morning with Carl Ingwell, spotted a MERLIN in
vicinity of my house (same street) so I'm calling it a yard bird. This is at
21st South and 24th East. That's like my 8th Merlin of the winter. Seems
like either they are more common this winter or I am more adept at locating
them. Perhaps a bit of both. As always, those who know about habits of this
bird wishing to share opinions, please feel free.
