Provo Airport Dike - 12/5/08

Ned Bixler and I drove around the PAD Friday afternoon (sorry for the  
late post).  Nothing too exciting. Best birds were a very bright  
Orange-crowned Warbler on the west side of the road just North of the  
control tower, a Herring Gull with the ring-bills at the Southeast  
corner of the loop, a Bald Eagle in the trees along the river at the  
North end of the dike road, a flock of Meadowlark just South of the  
control tower and we saw a distant shrike along the fence near the  
tower from the Southwest corner but when we drove up to the spot it  
was nowhere to be found.
