Message: Caught without binoculars, a falcon caused me to stop on S.R. 224 at Kimball Junction. It was sitting first on wires behind Whole Foods then perched on top of the Olympic Park sign. 
A bit rusty on raptors always, however, I am pretty sure it was a PRAIRIE FALCON. Definite dark wing linings. Not a raptor I normally see in this area of Summit County.
