I birded Lee Kay Ponds again today (suprise). Spent most of my time with
Gulls. Saw Thayer's, Herring, Ring-Billed, and California. Other birds of
intereste were: Bufflehead, Common Goldeneye, Canvasback, American Wigeon,
Ring-Necked Duck, Le. Scaup, & Common Merganser (only counted 9 today).
Lee Kay is an awesome place. I've counted over 100 of the 120 species seen
there. It's a short trip & you can usually do it in an hour or two. Check
it out.
