Subject: eBird Report - Emigration Canyon , 12/3/08

Location: Emigration Canyon
Observation date: 12/3/08
Notes: While there weren't many birds to be seen on this trip, there was one place that had high activity. Robins were everywhere, several N. Flickers, and a Downey Woodpecker. There were berries nearby, and maybe that attracted them. Go up Emigration Canyon about 0.2 miles east of Mile Marker 7. There are some good pullouts so you can watch. The scenery alone is worth the trip. You might need 4 wheel drive due to snow.
Number of species: 5

Downy Woodpecker 1
Northern Flicker 2
Black-billed Magpie 1
American Robin 22
Dark-eyed Junco 6
