I've been a little busy this last week, so I haven't birded much. These
posts are a little late too.
Last Sunday afternoon Brittany and I birded Swede Lane, then drove out to
Lincoln Beach. At Swede we had a flyover of about 50 Sandhill Cranes, and
one Bald Eagle. Other than that, it was pretty dead out there.
The Snow Bunting was still hanging around Lincoln Beach. There were a
couple Red-Breasted Mergansers out on the water as well.
Today I birded Lee Kay Ponds and there was nothing too noteworthy. A bunch
of Common Goldenye were there as well as a handfull of Canvasback, Am.
Wigeon, Scaup, etc. On the East pond there were 13 Common Merganser.
