[Birdtalk] Wellsville Hawkwatch

Hawkwatch International began the annual fall count of raptor migration at the top of the Wellsville's in Cache Co. on Aug 26.  First day count was around 30, by the 3rd week of September daily counts can be in the 100's.  This is the first site that Hawkwatch began to monitor.
Visitors who want to make the hike to the top are welcome (2-3 hours) and well worth it.  Access is thru Deep Canyon in Mendon, Utah. Birds in the lower canyon today included Chukar, Nashville Warbler, and Red Breasted Nuthatch.
