[Birdtalk] wx heads up

Hi all,

We're about to be in a fairly unusual weather pattern for this time of the
year. Starting late tonight into Saturday morning, winds will be out of the
NE to E at 10-30 kts from the surface up through ~10000' above ground level
across much of Wyoming and NE Utah. I sort of believe birds tend to NOT
migrate when weather conditions are even remotely unfavorable in the
Intermountain West, which may very well be the case if the flow is more
easterly. Nonetheless, if birds do decide to move either tonight or
tomorrow night, this weather pattern could potentially bring a few migrants
a little farther west then they would normally otherwise go.
