Obviously you need to re-read it and see the point he was trying to make. CLEANING UP ENERGY IN UTAH IN 10 YEARS. Yes, it is a "political" issue, but Doug was not arguing politics or trying to stir up controversy. At least he posts on a regular basis, sharing his sightings, and tyring to get others involved. People always come out of the woodworks to argue, but most can't even post their sightings form a birdwalk in the park, or worse a trip to the causeway. I wish more people would post like Doug did, and not catch the backlash for simply trying to get birders involved in saving the environment and giving us a cleaner future at the same time.
But hey, if we want to talk real politics, we can get into that. How about Bush's perspective on the endangered species act? Yeah, le's not get started down that road.
