Made my morning stroll through the park. It was rather cold in retrospect
to the last couple mornings. Highlights included 3 singing YELLOW WARBLER,
a singing ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, a number of Yellow-rumps including a
stunning male "MYRTLE'S". A CHIPPING SPARROW was singing from the top of a
spruce near the southeast corner of the park, and while I was at the pond, 2
AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN flew over while a DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANT came in
and landed on the water. 2 COMMON GOLDENEYE remained as well.
