[Birdtalk] Canvasback continues, w/ PICS

I wandered over to Sugarhouse Park this afternoon with camera and binox in tow this time, and found the Canvasback in about the same spot that he was last night. He stayed mostly out in the middle of the pond, but at one point for some insane reason he swam directly towards my car, and started diving about 25 feet away, perfect for some pictures! He spent about 5 minutes then head back out into the center... odd.

The male goldeneye, didn't appear to be there today, but who knows. The other Goldeneye was however still there, and is actually a male Common Goldeneye, in a transitional plumage (adult already out of basic plumage, or 1st year bird into adult alternate...
