I have the day off on Wednesday and It looks like the weather may be right.
I'm going to do some Hawk Watching from the knoll up the Squaw Peak road on
Wednesday (Provo Canyon, Utah County). I've had some people ask me to let
them know when I plan on spending some time up there so I thought I'd invite
everyone. I will start around 10:30.

To get to the knoll go up Provo Canyon. There is a turn off on the right
marked ‘Squaw Peak Road’ Drive up this road. When you come to the fork turn
left. After the pavement ends drive 1.5 miles on the dirt road. At 1.5
miles there will be a trial on your right that heads up through some large
placed rocks and into an open overview (there is a downed maple tree just
past the boulders). From here there are two trails heading north. Take the
one that takes you along the face of the mountain side, not the one through
the forest. You can see the bare knoll ahead. About a 1/4 mile hike.
