Hi all,

As of now, the models are predicting 10-15kt NW winds at ~10000ft on
Thursday evening into Friday morning. It was under such weather conditions
late last fall that I had my best flights so I'm thinking of heading up to
the Avenues' towers to listen for nocturnal migrants on Thursday night.
Please contact me if you're interested in joining. I'll likely hike up
around 6:30-7ish and then head down when I'm (or others) are
tired...10-11pm? I think it is about 2 miles and ~500-800ft of elevation
gain. I don't promise anything, and admittedly, it's a lot of sitting
around being relatively quiet, but the views alone are worth the hike. Not
to mention, the bigger flights last year really were impressive and fun!
