I'm staking a double claim on those U of U Red Crossbills. I heard either
two or three crossbills fly over Mt. Olivet Cemetery this morning, on 500S.
across the street from Rice-Eccles Stadium. Other species in the cemetery:

American Kestrel
Downy Woodpecker
Northern Flicker
American Magpie
Steller's Jay (flock of eight)
Mountain Chickadee
Black-capped Chickadee
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Brown Creeper
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Hermit Thrush
American Robin
Yellow-rumped Warbler
TOWNSEND'S WARBLER
Spotted Towhee
Dark-eyed Junco
House Finch
American Goldfinch
a black bunny
and a small herd of deer, including a 4-point buck

  Hi all,

For anyone on campus or nearby...there were at least 3 Red Crossbills
flying around President's Circle (~1450 E 200 S) at the University of Utah
this morning.

  Colby
