Several birders have recently asked what species I was still in need of for the
year. Several people in the past have posted "most-wanted" lists to help while
winding down the year, and so I have decided to follow that route. Below are
birds I am still in need of for 2007, and any help in finding them would be
fantastic!

Red-throated Loon (or Yellow-billed... but lets not get ahead of ourselves)
White-winged Scoter
Scaled Quail (as I try not to hit myself too hard)
Mew Gull
Black-legged Kittiwake or Little Gull (don't laugh too hard)
Either Ground-Dove
Boreal Owl (tis the season for a callin')
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
VERMILION FLYCATCHER (this has been a huge miss this year)
Blue Jay
Bohemian Waxwing
Swamp Sparrow
Rusty Blackbird
Common Redpoll

And of course any other occasional or accidental vagrant is something I would be
interesetd in. So if you happen to see any of these birds over the next 2
months, or know where any are hiding out at the moment (Vermilion Flycatcher in
particular), I would be very greatful for any information passed along. And
for those out and about if you happen to find something, here is my cell, I am
always up for a good chase to see a great bird, 801-440-3035.

Thanks!
