DWR has provided the following Public Notice regarding proposed changes
to the state sensitive species list.  A link is provided below to the
proposed changes.

Wildlife that will be placed on Utah's Sensitive Species list as
Species of Concern will be decided at a meeting in Salt Lake City on
Nov. 13.

The meeting begins at 11 a.m.  The public is invited and encouraged to
attend.

The public can also review a list of species that are being proposed
for listing, and provide their written comments.

Please see the pasted and attached Public Notice for more information
about reviewing the list and providing comments.

A meeting agenda follows the Public Notice.


Public Notice

Pursuant to Utah Department of Natural Resources* Administrative
Rule
R657-48, the Wildlife Species of Concern and Habitat Designation
Advisory Committee (the Committee) will meet to review proposed
wildlife
species of concern designations on November 13, 2007.  The meeting
will
be held at 11 a.m. in room 3710 of the Utah Department of Natural
Resources Building, 1594 W. North Temple in Salt Lake City.

The list of proposed species of concern designations is available on
the Internet at: http://www.wildlife.utah.gov/pdf/SpofConcern07.pdf.  

A hard-copy of the list may be obtained by contacting the Executive
Director of the Department of Natural Resources (1594 West North
Temple,
Suite 3710, P.O. Box 145610, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84114 5610).

Any interested person may submit comments on proposed species of
concern designations.  All comments must be submitted in writing to
the
Executive Director for review at least seven days prior to the meeting.

In addition, any interested person may request to make an oral
presentation before the Committee concerning any matter under review
by
submitting a written request and supporting documentation to the
Executive Director at least 14 days prior to the meeting.
