Message: While having dinner this evening (10/13), we checked the feeder outside our indow and saw that we were still being visited by a young, male Broad-tail. This same one -- it has a distinctive mark on the side of its neck -- has been coming around for weeks. We have also had very occasional visits from a second and third hummer in the past few days. Last year, the last summer hummer departed on 10/11 and the Anna's showed up about a week later. I can't guess what this year is eventually going to look like -- Mort Somer
