Dave,
I also saw three small shorebirds at Rockport on Sunday; they were at the
southeast corner and too far away to ID (I didn't report them in my post). I
switched to the southeast side in the state park and wasn't much closer, but
came to the same conclusion you did--that they were Baird's. They appeared
very brown and somewhat attenuated in the tail area; that's all I got on
them and so I didn't include them in my report.
