Hi Deedee,

I did a search for "Boulder Acorn Woodpecker" on the Utah Birds website
(it's on the main page at the top) and found a couple sets of
directions.  Here are two:

...a Lewis's woodpecker at the acorn woodpecker tree 5.5 miles north of
Boulder on Highway 12... (Aug 2007)

The acorn woodpecker remains an easy Utah tick at Mile 93.5 on Hwy 12
north of Boulder... (Nov 2002)
