I visited Willard Bay State Park at I-15 exit 357 in Box Elder County early
this afternoon to see if the campground hosts have begun winter feeding yet
(they haven't--rats) and had a couple highlights:

A medium or large owl is using multiple perches on the loop driveway for
Willow Creek Campsite #1 based on fresh whitewash and pellets in three
locations along this short stretch of pavement. One of the pellets was even
still gushy. Be on the lookout for either a Barn or Great Horned; I think a
GHO is most likely due to the nature of the pellets even though I've seen
more Barn Owls at Willard Bay. I looked in most of the mature trees at the
north end of Willow Creek and didn't find the bird.

An Orange-crowned Warbler in trees in campsites 15-17 and along the
ever-more decrepit boardwalk.

Two black bunnies.
