[Birdtalk] Northern Utah birding

Hi, everybody
   
  Beth and I tried to chase a few of the birds seen in northern Utah lately.
  We first headed up to Snowville trying for Sharp-tailed Grouse and Gray Partrige both no shows.
  Then to Willard Bay State Park
  American Robins (100+)
  Starlings too many
  White-crowned Sparrow (45) tried really hard to make a juvenille into a Golden-crown but no luck.
  Spotted Towhee (5)
  House Sparrows (30)
  Black-capped Chickadee (10)
  Orange Crowned Warber (1)
  Northern Flicker (12)
  Downy Woodpecker (2) male and female
  Northern Shoveler (25)
  Common Goldeneye (3)
  Redhead(1)
  Killdeer (4)
  Sharp-shinned Hawk (1)
  Red-tailed Hawk (4)
  Bald Eagle (1) 3rd year
   
  Then we headed to East Canyon Reservoir.
  Common Loon (16)
  Pacific Loon (1)
  Red-breasted Merganser (12)
  Common Goldeneye (18)
  Western Grebe (6)
  Eared Grebe (3)
  Norther Shrike (1) at Park Entrance
  Bald Eagle (1) Adult
  Golden Eagle (2)
   
  Then to Antelope Island Causeway
  Killdeer (190) By the tire  on the north side of mm 5.25
  Marbled Godwit (1) with the killdeer
  Black Scoter (1) female
  Surf Scoter (1)
  Long-tailed Duck (2) one was picking on the poor Eared Grebes
  Lesser Scaup (12)
  Common Goldeneye (1)
  Eared Grebes tntc
  Northern Shovelers tntc
