As many of you know there is a proposal to enlarge mineral expansion operations  on the GSL that would affect 33,000 acres, I think this is the approximate size of Farmington Bay Wildlife Management Area for comparison. T he expansion is for solar evaporation ponds that concentrate bines and significantly reduces the areas value to wildlife. Your attendance and participation at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers public meeting on the topic would be very helpful... [see information below]
