[Birdtalk] Birding info for Utah

Dear Utah birders-

 I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I recently subscribed to birdtalk because I have had some business in SLC.  Two weeks ago, I was able to bird the South Shore and Marina near the airport, and got out to Antelope Island the next day.  Utah is gorgeous. The birds are similar to what we get around here, but you also have things that we don't.  It's great to see more postings and hear about places to go and what to expect to see.

My next trip will probably be in a month.  If I post with enough advance warning, would someone take me to local hot spots within a couple of hours of SLC?  I always like meeting new birding people, and getting the local perspective is a lot more fun when you can do it with a native.  I would return the favor if you are out here and have some time to bird.
