[Birdtalk] Around Salt Lake County

Despite not getting out to several places I would have liked to this weekend I
managed to squeeze in a little birding by ear yesterday evening in City Creek
Canyon:

Sharp-shinned Hawk
Broad-tailed Hummingbird
Lazuli Bunting
Black-headed Grosbeak
Western Tanager
Warbling Vireo (probably 25 heard along the road all the way to the top)
Song Sparrow
American Robin
Lesser Goldfinch

Also had an assemblage of good birds at my folks house over the last 4 days,
including three new yard birds (Sugarhouse area):

Broad-tailed Hummingbird
Black-chinned Hummingbird
Warbling Vireo (new yard bird)
Black-headed Grosbeak (new yard bird)
Yellow Warbler
Wilson's Warbler
Western Tanager
Bullock's Oriole
California Quail
American Robin
Tree Swallow (new yard bird)
Lesser Goldfinch
American Goldfinch

Back off to the southern part of the state, and hopefully some more good luck!
